The Follow-Up That Doesn't Sound Pushy
Someone enquired last week, sounded keen, then... silence. Chasing them up feels awkward — you don't want to sound pushy, but you also don't want to lose the booking.
AI is great at finding that friendly middle ground. Give it the context and let it draft something warm and low-pressure.
"Write a short, friendly follow-up message to a lead who enquired about [service] 5 days ago and hasn't replied. Keep it warm, no pressure, and give them an easy way to say yes or no. Sign off as [your name]."
You'll usually get something like: "Hi Sarah, just checking in — no rush at all! If now's not the right time for [service], totally understand. Happy to answer any questions whenever you're ready."
A few tips:
- Mention the specific service or date they asked about — it shows you remember them.
- Keep it short. One or two lines is plenty.
- Give them a graceful exit ("no worries if now's not right") — it actually makes people more likely to reply.
Try it on one quiet lead today and see what comes back.
